9PM Intermediate Dance Workshop: Bachata with Geraldo
The Traditional Bachata Style is the most common way of dancing Bachata. This style is sensual and sexy, with lots of body connection and hip movement. As Bachata rhythm is a 4/4 music, the steps go 4 steps to the left and 4 steps to the right. On the 4th step, there is a hip movement or tap, a main characteristic of this style. One-two-three-and-hip.
This workshop is intermediate level. Dancers below intermediate are welcome to join as couples.

Dance to the hottest releases of Salsa-Son-Timba, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, Cumbia, Reggaeton y más. 10-11:30pm Salsa, Bachata, and partner dance. 11:30pm-1am Latin Mix. Requests accepted, including in advance (DM Salsa Ithaca on social media).
